I find it sad that so many women risk their lives for non-life threatening surgery and spend a fortune surrounded by the process.. I can understand why they do it - in command to feel they say more normal/feminine/sexy or anything but here is the point, if we had grown up on a desert island then none of these women would have a feeling inadequate as they were..
Therefore is it not the cultural definition of what is run of the mill that is at fault and not outlook and natural/healthy but small breasts!? Larger breasts have not universally been desirable so it cannot be an innate phenomenon - for example, aristocracts surrounded by the 19th century often binded their breasts to appear as flat chested as possible because larger breasts were associated near lower classes/wet nurses etc and also Asian women who are naturally smaller chested do not have to conform to the arian page 3 type narrowly defined form.

I hold two daughters - one has dead straight soft black hair and the other is blonde with curls. They both revulsion their hair. What we haven't got, we want. It's our own insecurities that come out.

It say that 90% of men prefer plump chesty women. The other 10% prefer very plum chesty women. Its feminine, its sexy and a big turn on for a heterosexual male. If they prefer flat chested boys to be exact another category. Those women that get the boob job want common heterosexual males.

The up-to-the-minute size of breasts changes from era to era. In the early 1960's it be fashionable for women to have colossal breasts and women used to wear push-up bras to emphaisise their size. Then the Twiggy era of small breasts occurred, so women with hulking breasts used to minimise them.
Now the tide has turned back again. Instead of have surgery, women should just accept their own bodies.
I couldn't agree more! Let's not interfere near nature but let's show girls we love them for who they are.

As General Anesthesia is other a risk even for common (minor) procedures I too wonder why people transport the risk!
Being in proportion looks far nicer. I know as I've been Big- busted for my size and wore clothes to stow it. Now after 3 kids I still have breasts but I'm in proportion and men friends adjectives say I look better.
My husband calls models 'Barbies' and he isn't individual nice!
The only people who should own surgery are those who for whatever reason are Flat - chested. I parsimonious FLAT! If they can afford to give away that type of money there are charities likely to take it. Better than lining the pockets of already well-off Surgeons1
I do agree next to what you say to a certain extent.
I don't truly disagree with breast augmentation if done for the right reasons......it is no different from any other type of plastic surgery, ie tummy tucks, rhinoplasty, facelifts and liposcution.
Some women perceive very insecure about have smaller breasts or they may feel disproportionate if they have larger hips. What I imagine some people fail to grasp is that breast augmention is not about having as generous breasts as possible, but about having breasts that are proportionate to the rest of the body. Glamour models tend to furnish breast augmentation a bad name, by have their breasts inflated to ridiculous proportions, when in reality you can expect to increase one or two cup sizes within a standard breast augmentation operation.
I don't think huge breast implants coupled beside an androgenous figure is in any road attractive or appealling and I do think that no women should be made to feel not enough about her breast size, ie stupid comment above about 90% of men wanting colossal breasts. This is a random assumption and quite farcical. I think it can be agreed that most men like pert breasts that are an attractive shape, regardless of their size.
